Dissatisfied with the subdued packaging for their premium chocolate product sold in standup boxes, Hawaiian Host requested a design that would better represent their island heritage, as well as stand out more effectively against the growing competition on the crowded grocery shelves.
Brightly colored tropical backdrops succeeded in capturing the warm memories of an island vacation, as well as help differentiate between milk and dark chocolate varieties. And a larger, spotlighted candy piece accentuated the appetite appeal of their superior product.
